yawningYawning???

Why is it that when someone yawns, you yawn less then 5 minutes after. Or when Someone talks about yawning and you start yawning.

Get me?

Omg a can't stop yawning now :P
Only about 30% of people yawn after someone else. It's apparently some biological reflex thats hard-wired into our brains from ancient times. Yawning is a way to keep your brain alert. When early humans lived together in packs and one yawned, their brains thought "hang on - I must also be getting tired and need to stay alert".
actually no one knows why people yawn or y it contatigus

It is on the atmosphere!!! and the condition of your body!!!

If you both have in the same situation, probably the other is late 20 seconds or more, then, you will "YAAAAWWWWWNNNNNNNN....."
Yawning is caused by a lack of Oxygen in the air. When you share a space with other people and they inhale they take Oxygen from the atmosphere as do you, but when they yawn, they breathe out Carbon Dioxide, this is what you breathe in causing you to yawn and this helps the body exhale the poisonous gas.
lol stop it

yawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn… lol

its like when you are chatting with someone and having a drink you will find that you both take a drink at same time, usually when one of you stops for breath

yyawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ( and i aint joking am bloody yawning) its all your fault !!!
Although this “contagious” yawning behavior is not understyawningood, it has been suggested that this could be the result of an unconscious herding behavior — a subtle way to communicate group behavior, such as when a birds follow the behavior of one bird, and all rise together as a whole flock
yawn yawn
I'm not sure. I rarely have that problem. I think it has something to do with the physiological connection with sleep. If someone around you is "tired", you feel "tired" soon thereafter.

Yawning is actually the brains response to correct carbon dioxide levels in your system. If you have too much, you yawn in efforts to correct the levels.
As i know we yawning because of we have too much carbon dioxide in our body and we can't expire it properly so we expire it through yawning. In fact yawning is very effective way to expire carbon dioxide. Mostly when we yawning it mean we want to sleep. That because when carbon dioxide is getting more in our body it will motivate our nerve which control sleeping to make us want to sleep.I think it is not a disease at all.
In some way,Yawning is like a disease, but its not harmful. it is quite odd though, huh
Its a self defence mechanism that the body has, or so I have been told. If someone yawns the brain thinks there will be no more air and the body will be starved of oxygen. The yawn comes (yes i'm doing it too now) because the brain says the body needs to hog all the air before someone else does. The body reacts the same way if you see a cold scene on TV and shiver, even on a yawninghot day.
Everyone yawns - babies, kids, teenagers, adults. Some birds, reptiles and most mammals also yawn. However, the reason why we yawn is a bit of a mystery. There is also very little research about yawning because for most people yawning is not a problem. Here are a few things that are known about yawns:
1. The average duration of a yawn is about 6 seconds.
2. In humans, the earliest occurrence of a yawn happens at about 11 weeks after conception - that's BEFORE the baby is born!
3. Yawns become contagious to people between the first and second years of life.
4. A part of the brain that plays an important role in yawning is the hypothalamus. Research has shown that some neurotransmitters (for example, dopamine, excitatory amino acids, nitric oxide) and neuropeptides increase yawning if injected into the hypothalamus of animals.

You know that when you are bored, you yawn. Scientists have confirmed this observation by comparing the number of yawns in 17-19 year old students who watched music videos to the number of yawns in students who watched an uninteresting color test bar pattern.
ok yawning is contagious like that, it's just an instinct. when you think about yawning, write the word yawn, read the word yawn, or hear the word yawn or see someone else yawning you will yawn. just stay away from those things and think about something else, think about sour skittles
ofmg now i'm yawning..
